A software engineer who completed a Bachelor of Computer Science from Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University and came to Bangkok to chase his dream as a programmer. He is keen on JavaScript and PHP and specializes in Sankey Diagrams. He is also really fond of teas for health and other purposes… like testing his luck.

He enjoys discussing cyber-security and video-games. You can see him most of the time wearing a hoodie and he will say “Look at me. I’m hacker now”.

Paul Janecek

Founder and CEO. Paul received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the EPFL, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Information Visualization. In what sometimes seems like former lives, he was: a professor at the AIT; a researcher in university labs in Europe (Paris-Sud, Aarhus); an engineer at Intel (US patents 5815434, 5936884); a helicopter pilot; and a West Point graduate. He likes exploring and understanding complexity, the beauty of maps, the cleverness of gadgets, things and people you can trust, and food and wine with friends.

His nickname is Phet or diamond in English signifying strength as he always stands tall and surpasses all the obstacles no matter what they are. Born and raised in Kathmandu, he's a Techno Troll with an inquisitive and explorative attitude. His deep interest in networks, sensors, and visualization brought him here. Assembling and dismantling things is what he loves to do in his leisure. He holds an ME in Information and Communication Technologies from the AIT and is a data aficionado, lifelong learning enthusiast, and skeptic. He codes for food and loves his wife & daughter.
